Founded by Mose and Dorothy Higginbotham in 1961, Ozark Motor Lines has been family owned and operated for over 60 years.

Ozark hauled its first less-than-truckload with a 1949 Ford pickup from TN to MO.

Once deregulation came along, Ozark transitioned to a truckload carrier with this 19__ Freightliner, a brand that would remain near and dear to Ozark for years to come.

Handed down from generation to generation, two sons Tommy and Steve Higginbotham took over operations in 1979.

Still loyal after all these years, new 2024 Freightliner Cascadia’s have started being introduced into the fleet as of earlier this year.

Continuing the family tradition, Tommy and sons, Jason and Michael Higginbotham, are still running the company today.
